Your hosts are Lyall Orme and Rene Parada along with our sometimes underfoot helpers Amigo, Chiquitina, Tianna, and Sasha. Lyall was born, raised and lived in numerous communities around the Province of Alberta, Canada. He finally settled in the City of Calgary, Alberta. Rene was born and raised in the City of San Salvador, El Salvador, Central America. He immigrated to Calgary, Alberta via Houston, Texas during the 80s. Rene is fluent in both the Spanish and English languages. Together they moved to Duncan, B.C. with the intention of opening a B&B.

With them came three helpers: Amigo who, as his name implies, is a friend to everyone; Chiquitina, who thinks that she is the boss and must have all the attention; and last Tianna, who is the Princess and acts accordingly. Our fourth helper Sasha joined the household when, after the death of her long time companion and our very dear friend, she found that she could not seem to settle in anywhere else.
